DIRECTIONS FROM CAPE TOWN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TO WHALE COTTAGE FRANSCHHOEK****

From the airport take the N2 highway in the direction of SOMERSET WEST.  Take the Stellenbosch turn-off (R 310),
and follow this road into the town.  Carry on straight at all times, alongside the railway line.  Follow the signs to Franschhoek via Helshoogte Pass. 
When you come into Franschhoek, you will automatically enter on Huguenot Road.   Turn left into Berg Street, at the police station, in line with
Le Quartier Francais. We are two blocks further, on the corner of Berg and Akademie Street.  Our address is 11 Akademie Street, but the
entrance on Berg Street is more convenient for off-loading luggage.

An alternate route from Cape Town city is via the N1 highway.  Take the R 44 turn-off in the direction of Stellenbosch,
 cross over the 4-way stop at Klapmuts, and turn left at the sign to Franschhoek.   Follow the signs to Franschhoek, and then follow
the directions above once you enter the village.
